Mohbad Started Vomiting After He Was Injected – Singer’s DJ Tells Court
Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as MohBad’s disc jockey (DJ), Ajisegiri Ayobami, who was with him before he passed away, has said that the late singer began vomiting after receiving an injection from a nurse. This information was provided during the coroner’s inquest in Ikorodu on Wednesday regarding Mohbad’s death.
He claimed the late singer had puked the noodles that his brother Adura Aloba had made for him.
The witness claims that on Sunday, they had gone to a show in Ikorodu. On the way back, their Prado Jeep was stopped, and he witnessed Mohbad get out of his Jeep and battle Primeboy, his companion, before suffering injuries.
In addition, Ayobami informed the coroner’s court that although the injury on his hand was minor, it had already swollen by the time they arrived home at midnight.
He claimed that when they attempted to reach Mohbad’s personal nurse, she responded that she was unavailable. Consequently, one of their team members contacted Spending, who mentioned that he had a nurse. They then called the nurse, who arrived to give him an injection.
Mohbad, according to Ayobami, was OK before the nurse arrived but slept off before receiving his injection.
He claimed that Mohbad’s room had water on the floor, so he went to fetch a mop to clean it when his wife called for him to come back.
The witness reported that upon arriving, he observed Mohbad had passed out on the floor, regurgitating the Indomie Noodles he had consumed, and he had goosebumps all over his body.
He said, “The nurse said we should go and get him drugs; while we were at the pharmacy, I called the house to know how he was feeling, and they said I should come back.
“When I got back, they were already outside trying to put him in a neighbour’s car to get him to the hospital, but the way I saw him, he was lifeless, his eyes were closed, and his hands were falling.
“While we were going to the hospital, there was traffic, so I came down from the other vehicle and ran to the hospital. I asked them if they had an ambulance, and they said no. Before I could get back to them, I saw them bringing Mohbad on a bike, and when we got to the hospital, he was confirmed dead,” the witness said.
