Ejigbo Born Movie Star, Oyeniyi Sets To shoot His New Movie, ‘The Chosen One’ In Osogbo
All is set for the shooting of a new movie by Oyebode Oyeniyi, an indigene of Ejigbo, Osun State.
According to a statement made available to newsmen on Thursday, the movie titled ‘The Chosen One’ is set to be shot in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.
Oyeniyi stated, “The truth about time, spirituality, divinity, magic realism, history and victims of circumstances is the drive of this movie.
“It shows the struggles of a family of mother and child and their relationship with the society in a developing country.
“After the tragic death of the father, the heroic character of the mother, who sees her child through the storms and never gave up on the believe of better days even when the chances are very slim.
“But the unfortunate incident that surround their life is based on sacrificial benefit that has been designed by divinity to erase a reoccurring problem in the bloodline created by a covenant made with a spiritual being in the days of the old. The magic of time, how the love of a mother can turn a child to a man,” Oyeniyi, the producer of the movie stated.
Notable actors and actresses to feature in the movie are Rotimi Salami, Toyin Alahusa, Bode Oyeniyi, Taiwo Ibikunle, Olasukanmi Akanni Olohuniyo, Abosede Itanayo, Akin Okunade, Adekunle Abolade, Bose Victor, John Odika, Victoria Bello.
Others include Ayo Oladapo, Omoshalewa Yusuff, among others
Oyebode Oyeniyi hails from Ejigbo, Osun State.
He attended Laro Grammar School before he later proceeded to Ibadan Polytechnic where he studied Public Administration.
He began his movie career with Christian stage Drama in 2002 before he later joined KAAS & DEE ENTERTAINMENT, own by popular Nollywood actress, Kemi Afolabi.
He has featured in several movies, some of which include Babatunde Ishola Folorusho, Anjuwon, Okuta Idigbolu, Ilekun Idena, Kurukuru, Mulika Alala, Kokumo, Omo Inu Oka, Omo Olufa, among others.
Oyebode Oyeniyi produced his first movie in 2017. The movie was directed by Odunlade Adekola, fully packaged by Kemi Afolabi, and marketed by Afeezco Films.
