Public Lecture In Honour Of Former EKSU FVC Holds On Tuesday
The third Edition of the Professor James Olugbenga Aribisala public lecture holds on Tuesday 20th June at the main campus of the Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.
According to statement by the organisers, Professor Olumide Ogundipe and Engineer Yomi Akinola, the lecture will hold at the New Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Engineering commencing by eleven o’clock in the morning.
The statement explains that the third Edition of the lecture is dedicated to celebrating the 60th birthday anniversary and induction of the former Deputy Vice Chancellor of EKSU Professor Aribisala as a fellow of the Nigeria Academy of Engineering, which is highest authority of Engineering practice in Nigeria.
The lecture will be delivered by the immediate past Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, Engineer D. H Oladebeye, and the Keynote address by a former permanent secretary in the state Civil service while the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Ekiti State University, Professor O. L Oke is the Host.
The statement adds that on Thursday, 22nd of June, Professor Aribisala will be formally inducted into the fellowship of Academy of Engineering alongside 12 other prominent Engineers who have made tremendous impact in the practice of Engineering in the country.
The events holds at the University of Lagos.
