Amotekun Arrests 35-year-old Man For Allegedly Defiling Minor In Osun

The Osun Amotekun Corps has arrested a 35-year-old man, Muritala Ibrahim, for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old girl.
The incident, it was gathered happened in Agba, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State.
Ibrahim was arrested after the girl’s mother lodged a complaint at the Amotekun Boripe Command.
He allegedly lured the girl into his residence, where he forcefully had canal knowledge of her.
Ibrahim thereafter shaved part of the girl’s hair and gave her another cloth to wear.
Confirming the arrest, according to a statement signed by Amotekun Public Relations Officer Yusuf Idowu, the Corps Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps Dr. Adekunle Omoyele said the suspect was arrested after the victim’s mother lodged a complaint at their Boripe’s Command, the operatives swung into action and apprehended the felon at his residence in Agba.
Upon preliminary investigation, “the suspected rapist confessed of perpetrating the act by defiling the small girl”. Omoyele asserted.
He has been handed over to the police for further investigation, prosecution and report.
