Gunmen invaded Akoko communities in Ondo North Senatorial district of Ondo State and killed two motorcyclists popularly known as okada.
Also, the suspects attacked a motorcyclist along Leo Road in Akure, the state capital, and stanched his motorcycle at gunpoint.
One of the victims was a 28-year-old Dada Jatto, who was killed in Iyani-Akoko in the Akoko Northwest local government area of the state. Jatto was reportedly missing for the past three days.
The search efforts led to the discovery of his mutilated body and the damaged phone without his motorcycle at a spot very close to Arigidi along Okeagbe road.
The second incident involved a Northerner Okada rider whose assailant lured them to a hideout between Ikare and Arigidi and used a hammer to smash his head.
