Amotekun Nabs Suspected Hoodlums With Firearms In Osun
The operatives of Osun Amotekun Corps have arrested two men, Afeez Olaniyan, 27 year old and Ismail Wahab, 23 yr old with a locally made pistol gun in Osogbo.
They were arrested on Wednesday following a tip-off from the residents of the area on the activities of duo suspects unleashing terror attacks on the inhabitants of Ita-Olokan, Osogbo and it’s environs.
Our correspondent learnt that following information received from concerned members of the public, operatives of Amotekun swung into action and got the two arrested.
Confirming the arrest, the Osun Amotekun Corps Commander, Brig. Gen. Bashir Adewinmbi asserted that the suspected hoodlums were arrested by the operatives for terrorizing the residents of Ita-Olokan area Osogbo and its environs.
According to him “The suspected hoodlums were arrested on Wednesday after receiving a distress call from the residents of the area on the activities of the suspects unleashing attack on the residents of Ita-Olokan Osogbo and it’s environs.

“Our operatives swung into action Instantly after the complaint was made and the culprits were arrested with a locally made pistol gun .
“Upon Investigation, they confessed to committing the act and using the firearm to protect themselves”.Adewinmbi stated.
The suspect had since been handed over to the police for subsequent investigation and interrogation.
