How 17-Yr-Old 100 Level UNIOSUN Student Lures Facebook Lover From Lagos To Osun, Robs Him Of N1.5m

A 17-year-old student of the Osun State University, Ikire campus, Ahiante Victory has narrated how her “Yahoo Yahoo” School Boyfriend Collected N1.5m From Facebook Lover she lured to Osun.

Victory, a 100l UNIOSUN Student who was arrested by Osun State police command explained to pressmen that she lured her Facebook lover from Lagos state to Ikire, Osun State where her boyfriend and his friends robbed the victim of his phone and transferred over N1.5m out of his account.

Stating further, Victory said after the Facebook lover came to Ikire, she invited him to the same house where she reside with his boyfriend.

The student who hails from Edo State rather than spending quality time with him instead made the man find himself in a difficult situation.

According to Victory “My boyfriend left the house to allow my Facebook lover to come in, after few minutes, he returned with many guys, they beat my Facebook lover, stripped him naked, collected his phone and they claimed he wanted to rape me. Then they told me to leave the scene.”

When asked if she was aware that the sum of N1.5m was transferred out from the victim’s account, Victory claimed she was not aware, however, confessed of receiving N40,000 from his boyfriend after the incident.

“I later knew the N40,000 he gave me was part of the proceed of robbing my Facebook lover when police started investigating the matter” she said.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Kehinde Longe while addressing newsmen said “On the 28th June, 2023 at about 1330hrs, the victim reported at Ikire Division that, he met one Victory Ahiante on social media and started chatting, then he was invited to come to Osun State from Lagos State by his friend, Victory ‘f’.

“He stated further that, when he came to Ikire, Victory lured him to her boy friend’s house where he met some unscrupulous elements who attacked him and collected his phone which they used to transfer the sum of N1.5m from his account.”

Longe further stressed that “Immediately the case was reported, police detectives swung into action and arrested one Ariyo Ayobami 32-year-old from his hideout.

He said that preliminary investigation led to the arrest of Adeleke Opeyemi 24-year-old and Ahiante Victory 17-year-old.

The command also arrest other suspects for conspiracy and armed robbery gang suspected to be terrorizing motorists along Aba-Ede junction of Osu/Ile-Ife Highway in the night.
