Police Arrests 16-Yr-Old Boy For K!lling Father With Pestle

A 16-year-old boy, Emmanuel John, has been arrested by the police for allegedly killing his father while defending the mother in Madala village, Karshi, Abuja.

The commissioner of , Federal Capital police boss Territory Command CP Haruna G. Garba who spoke during a press conference at the command headquarters on Friday, said the incident followed a fight between the victim, Monday John and his wife.

According to the CP, the suspect who was angered by the fight between the two parents, took sides with his mother and allegedly k!lled the father using a mortar pestle.

He said, “It is also interesting to note that one Emmanuel John, age 16 years was arrested on 2nd May, 2023 for k!lling his father by name Monday John. It all happened when the suspect’s mother and father engaged in a physical fight.

“The suspect took sides with his mother and used a mortal pestle and hit hard on the father’s head which eventually led to his death. The suspect will be arraigned in juvenile court at the conclusion of the investigation”.
