Police Nab Woman Supplying Food Items To Kidnappers In Kwara
One Mrs Abibatu Jimoh, who was supplying kidnappers with garri and other food items, has been apprehended,the police in Kwara State have said.
The command’s spokesman, Ajayi Okasanmi, made this known on Wednesday.
According to him, her arrest and that of three other male suspects, Abubakar Ibrahim, Mamud Ibrahim and Muhamed Kiri, was not unconnected with the kidnapping of the wife of an ex-Military Administrator of Bauchi and Osun states, Mrs Oladapo Jumoke Bamigboye.
Okasanmi said: “Abibatu was discovered to be the supplier of garri and other food items with which victims of kidnappers are fed while in captivity.”
Meanwhile, Bamigboye has since been released after a ransom was paid, her husband, Col Theophilus Bamigoye (Rtd), has confirmed. Source : Within Nigeria Online Report.
