Tragedy As Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Hack Two To Death, Injure Other In Benue (see photo)
Suspected Fulani herdsmen killed two persons in Zongo Akiki, Makurdi Local Government Area in Benue State.
Zongo Akiki is a community located along Nigeria Army School of Military Engineering , NASME, Northbank, Makurdi.
It was the first herdsmen attack in the metropolitan council since gunmen launched a blistering attacks on Benue communities.
The council chairman, Mrs.Eunice Torbunde, who confirmed the incident on Saturday, November 5, told newsmen that those killed were going to the farm to harvest yams when they ran into an ambush by suspected herdsmen who shot and killed them at the spot
According to Mrs Torbunde, after the victims were killed, the herders matcheted them into pieces.
She identified those killed as Tyoikyas Awen and Azende Ude while the third person escape.
Meanwhile, suspected herders also attacked another man in Udaaya along Ngban Udei road in Guma Local Government Area of the state. Lindakeji blog
