33-year-Old-housewife Arraigned For Allegedly Stabbing Beer Seller On the neck

Osun State Police Command, on Monday, arraigned a 33-year-old woman, Dayo Owolabi, for allegedly stabbing a beer seller, Latifa Kojo.
The accused was said to have stabbed the beer seller in her premises on 27th January, 2019 at about 5:15 p.m, at Arikalamu Area Osogbo, after she was intoxicated.
The prosecutor, Mr Jafani Muslim, told the court that the accused person has committed the offence after being intoxicated with some substance in the business premises of her victim.
Jafani said that the accused person has committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Sections 355 and 249(D) of the Criminal Code CAP 34 Vol. 11, Laws Of Osun State Nigeria, 2003.
The accused person who is facing two count-charge pleaded not guilty of the offence levelled against him.
Her counsel, Mr. D. D. Adegbola, told the court that efforts are on to settle the matter out of court.
He pleaded to the court to grant his client bail in a liberal term.
The Magistrate, Mrs. R.A Olayemi, granted the accused person bail in the sum of N10,000 with one surety in like sum.
The Magistrate thereby adjourned the case to February 4, 2019 for hearing.
