Niger Republic is leading other nations of the world in the list of countries with high fertility rates, recent data released by the World of Statistics indicate.

Niger Republic takes the lead at 6.9, Somalia at 6.4, Chad rates 6.3, Congo at 6.2, Mali, 6.0 and the Central African Republic trails at 6.0.

The figures indicate the best rating in fertility or births per woman, in the listed countries.

Nigeria follows in 8th position with a 5.3 rating while the likes of South Korea, Hong Kong Singapore, Japan, China, Italy and Spain rank the lowest.
