PDP Flays Aregbesola On Recommissioning Of Schools
The people’s Democratic Party PDP in Osun State has described, as the highest level of corruption, the re-commissioning of four Government High Schools (which had already been commissioned) by the State Governor Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
In a statement by the party’s Director of Media and Publicity Mr Idowu Afolami, he stated that the re-commissioning of the already commissioned projects is an evidence that the governor had no tangible projects due for commissioning again in the state
Afolami wondered why the government of the state is so wasteful and uncaring to the level of wasting tax payer’s money and limited resources on frivolous events, like commissioning already commissioned projects.
He called on the governor to judiciously utilise the Paris loan refund in a way that the money would have positive impacts on the people.
He wondered whether the governor was more powerful or superior to the president who had once commissioned the schools.
He called on the state government to explain the rationale behind the wasting of money, time and manpower on the second commissioning of the already commissioned schools.
