LCDA’s Boss Lauds Aregbesola on People-oriented Policies as Gov. Commissions Osogbo West LCDA

The Council Manager of Osogbo West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mr. Olayinka Isaac has commended Governor Rauf Aregbesola for being dedicated to the general well-being of the masses since assumption of office.
Isaac said the favourable winds of the present administration has blown across the nooks and crannies of the state.
The Council Manager gave the commendation at the official commissioning of the newly built ultra-modern LCDA’s secretariat complex.
The LCDA secretariat was constructed by the Council under the leadership of its manager, Mr Olayinka Isaac in a bid to create conducive working environment and to ensure effective discharge of duties by the workers of the council.
Isaac who was very excited for the successful completion of the project said the commissioning of the new LCDA’s secretariat complex was a clear manifestation of the vision and mission of the Aregbesola government to make life more abundant and meaningful to the residents of the community.
Enumerating some of his achievements within a space of one year, the Council Manager said his regime has been able to accomplish the aim of constructing the office complex as a result of prudent and judicious utilization of the share of take-off grants given to the council by the state government.
Isaac further explained that apart from the building of the secretariat complex, the council under his leadership has renovated a two-bedroom dilapidated building located within the premises to serve as additional office for the staffs.
He noted that the newly built offices were well equipped with basic office equipment such as chairs, table, and laptop among others so as to complement the office complex.
The Council manager added that the council has within the space of one year also constructed 65 metres of drainage located at Zone 4, Ilupeju area of the council as well as the constant refuses packing the council has been done.
According to him, all these laudable achievements were recorded as a result of determination and cooperation of the co-workers.
Isaac vowed to work towards ensuring improved Internally Generated Revenue of the council and the state just as he pledged to always make judicious use of the council’s resources, saying “we have not disappointed our people and we will not disappoint them”.
While describing the sojourning people of the council as peace lovers, Isaac said they have been living in peace and harmony, urging them to maintain the tempo of peaceful coexistence as the council is drifting towards prosperous destination.
He, therefore, charged the residents of the council on the need to live up to their civic responsibilities, by always paying their taxes and other levies, saying “it is time for all to reciprocate the government efforts in bringing dividends of democracy”.
While commissioning the multimillion naira secretariat, Governor Rauf Aregbesola commended the council Manager, Mr Olayinka Isaac, for his high sense of prudency in bring water out of stone.
Aregbesola described the new secretariat complex as a milestone to socio-economic rebirth, saying it is only a prudent resources manager like Isaac could put up such gigantic structure among other notable achievements within the space of one year despite the meager resources occasioned by the current economic recession.
Describing Isaac as the best manager, Aregbesola said the secretariat would afford the workers the opportunity to discharge their duties effectively.
The governor said: “Besides, the fact that LCDA contributes to the development of the state, its creation also helps foster communal peace and progress among the people at grassroots.
“The creation of LCDAs is not for fun but rather, a noble intent to make government more nearer to the masses and enhance all-round growth and development.”
