KWP 2022: Nasarawa State Gov, Abdullahi Sule, General Irabor, Others Bag World Institute For Peace Award
World Institute For Peace (WIP) has announced winners of the world Peace KWP for 2022.
The organization listed the names of the winners in a statement signed by Ambassador Tandra Mishra (India)International Director of Media, World Institute for Peace (WIP) and made available to CityMirrorNews.
The winners according to the statement were selected after assessment and deliberations by the organization’s Board of Directors, and in knowledge of the Executive Director of the Organisation, in person of Chief Comrade LAMINA KAMILUDEEN OMOTOYOS.
It further stated that Sir, Lt. Gen. Lamidi Adeosun (Rtd) is the Chairman of the event.
According to him “Months ago, International Organization, that promotes the culture of peace, enhances humanitarian services and preserves people’s right, World Institute for Peace began asking for nominations for the Knight of World Peace and World Icon of Peace Award respectively.
“The winners will be inducted as fellow of the Organization and presentation of the Knight of World Peace Award will be given at the ninth anniversary of the organization, World Institute for Peace, titled, “INTERNATIONAL PEACE CONFAB and KNIGHT OF WORLD PEACE KWP PRESENTATIONS”, which will be held on the 14th of December, 2022 by 11:30AM at Hall A, T.Y Buratai Block, Nigerian Army Resource Center, Asokoro, Abuja.
“After assessment and deliberations by the organization’s Board of Directors, and in knowledge of the Executive Director of the Organisation, in person of Chief Comrade LAMINA KAMILUDEEN OMOTOYOSI, the 2022 Winners have been selected, and they are:
1. General Lucky Eluonye Onyenuchea Irabor CFR psc NAM GSS ndc FCMH, Chief of Defence Staff, Nigeria.
2. Ambassador Ahmad Rufai Abubakar CFR, D.G, NIA.
3. Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule, Nasarawa State Governor, Nigeria.
4. Ambassador Dr. Pedrito Marerro, Florida, USA.
5. Ambassador DR. SYBIL OLUFUNMILAYO AKINFENWA, CP Rtd.
6. Ambassador Dustin Pickering, Houston, Texas, USA.
Also, Umutay Ehralieva from Kyrgyzstan Republic, Adegoke Toluwani, Dr. Benjamin Akintola, Mr. OGUNLEKE SAMUEL O, Marcus Olarinde Adeyanju, Esq and Chief (Mrs.) Patricia Dolapo Dosunmu from Nigeria shall be awarded as World Icon of Peace during the event.
The award is in recognition of their distinct performances in promoting peace culture in their respective countries.
