Baptist Youth Organises 50th Annual National Conference

The 50th Annual National Conference of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, NBCYC, will commence tomorrow, Tuesday, August 2, 2022.
The programme will be held at the First Baptist Church, Eket, Akwa Ibom state. The week-long conference will end on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
The 2022 edition marks the 50th celebration and it is themed “Jubilee”, Leviticus 25:10-11.
The special guest at the Jubilee celebration is the President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention, Rev Dr Israel Adelani Akanji while the Lead Speakers is the President of the Ethiope-Delta Conference, Rev Dr Jonathan Ihwighwu. Other speakers are the Director, Youth, and Student Ministry, Rev Dr Olawuyi James; National Coordinator, Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, Rev IbukunOluwa Joshua and the President of the body, Pastor Enunuaye Onajite among other men of God.
In a statement issued and signed by the NBCYC President, Pastor Enunuaye Onajite, he urged members not to miss the Jubilee celebration as the Conference would not be an annual ritual but rather, an avenue to commune and thank God for the past fifty years.
Enunuaye said ” We are grateful to God for the grace to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference.
“I urge all youths of the Nigerian Baptist Convention to turn up for this special Conference because this is our year of Jubilee and the Lord is waiting to bless us specially.
“We have outlined various programmes that would add value to the Conference. Among the programmes includes Words, prayers, sports, seminars, Jubilee celebration, and musical concerts among others.”
The youth President urged members not to travel at night given the security situation of the country.
