Sokoto Senator Dumps PDP For APC
The Senator representing Sokoto South Senatorial District, Senator Ibrahim Danbaba, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Danbaba announced his defection to the APC in a letter read by Senate President Ahmad Lawan, during Wednesday plenary.
The lawmaker said he left the PDP because of lingering crisis in Sokoto State chapter of the party.
He said APC’s ideology is in line with his personal political belief.
