Oranmiyan Raises Alarm Over Alleged Sponsored Protest Against Aregbesola By Osun Govt
The Oranmiyan worldwide has raised the alarm over planned protest being allegedly sponsored by Osun State Government against the Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
Oranmiyan accused Governor Adegboyega Oyetola Ilerioluwa group and some government officials of working tirelessly to bring down the person of the Minister .
Oranmiyan is one of the strong platforms which was used by APC to canvass votes for Governor Gboyega Oyetola during the 2018 Governorship election.
In a statement issue by the Media Office of the group, and made available to newsmen in Osogbo said the group has it on good authority that members of Ilerioluwa and some governemnt officials had arrived the federal state capital , Abuja to kick start the protest against Oyetola’s predecessor, who is now the current Minister of Interior.
Oranmiyan accused the government of sponsoring various articles to downgrade the of the Minister and having known the such article could not hold water resolved into sponsoring protests in order to paint the minister bad in the faces of the people.
“We have it on good Authority that some government officials have gathered and transported the paid protesters to Abuja for the protest.
“The purpose of the protest is to call for the suspension of Aregbesola as earlier demanded by a sponsored group, the Human Rights Writer Association.
“This is another desperate move by Governor Oyetola and his people to smear Aregbesola and pull him down politically.
“We urge President Muhammadu Buhari, security agencies and well-meaning Nigerians not to take the protesters serious because they are agents of the Osun State Government”, the group said
