Man, 40, Remanded Over Alleged Unlawful Possession Of Human Parts In Osun

A 40-year-old man, Adeboye Moshood, has been ordered to be remanded in correctional Centre, Ilesa by an Osun State Magistrate’s Court sitting in Osogbo for alleged Unlawful Possession Of Human Parts.
Moshood pleaded guilty that a four-count charge slammed against him.
The accused was said to have committed the offence on the 16 day of February 2021, about 9:00 at Gbongan.
Police Prosecutor, Akintunde Jacob told the court that the accused person was found in possession of Human Parts, two legs and body.
The offence according to Jacob contravened Section 517, 3, 430 of Criminal Code CAP 34 Vol 11 law of Osun state of Nigeria 2002.
The Defence Counsel, Nwoke Kasia prayed the court to grant his client bail in the most liberty terms and promise to provide a reliable surety.
The prosecutor Akintunde Jacob opposed the oral bill application made by the Defence Counsel.
In his ruling, Isola Omishade remanded the accused person at Ilesa correctional center.
He, therefore adjourned the case till 9 of March 2021 for ruling.
