Group Urges Muslims To Reflect On Birth, Messages Of Prophet Muhammad
By Steve Oni, Ilorin
The Association of Model Islamic Schools (AMIS), Kwara state chapter, has urged Nigerian Muslims to reflect on the birth and messages of Prophet Muhammad which centres on truthfulness, integrity and virtues.
It urged them to inculcate these attributes of the holy prophet Muhammad in their children and wards as they train them for a truly responsive nation building for the betterment of all.
The association, in a statement signed by its chairman, Prof. Abdulrazaq Oniye, and secretary, Mal. Taofiq Salaudeen,
felicitated with Nigerian Muslims and her members on the occasion of 1442 Maolud Nabiy holiday.
It added: “It is a known fact that the birth and prophethood of Muhammad, may Allah’s blessings and benediction continue to be on him, depict liberation and unequal human capital development.
“We as proprietors of Model Islamic Schools must reflect on these two features which the coming of Prophet Muhammad represent and ensure that our learners continue to receive due guidance and spiritual elevation as they attend our schools.”
