Ten Ten Immaculate Foundation Empowers Widows In Osun
Ten Ten Immaculate Foundation, Iwo has empowered 11 widows in Iwoland, the seat of Osun West Senatorial District.
Disbursing the financial support to aid the beneficiaries business, the founder of the foundation, Alhaji Moshood Kamal Okunola, said the hardship of most widows without any matrimonial support geared his commitment.
Alhaji Kamal stated women whose husbands have died and wish to remain focus on children will require support from philanthropist, urging wealthy individual to promote widows through empowerment programs.
The beneficiaries are objectively selected from the three local governments of Iwo, Ayedire and Ola-Oluwa.
Appreciating Oluwo of Iwoland represented by Aremo and Asipa of Iwoland, he hinted Oluwo has created a new brand of positive reckon to Iwoland which encouraged many people including him to visit home and complement his majesty’s stride in developing the community.
While praying for more financial strength, Kamal pledged to continuously assist the less privileged within his ability, urging others to see everyone as their brother’s keeper.
Aside Aremo Adelani Akanbi and Asipa Gbola Fasasi who represented Oluwo, also present were the Waziri of Yorubaland, Sheik Yahqub Abdulbaaqi, Alfa Muhammed Katayeyanjue, Mr. Ademola Yakub and Yusuf Muttalub Olagold ( Oluwo’s Secretary and Personal Assistant respectively).
The donor marked his 45th birthday with donation of #10,000 each to 11 widows.
The planned was to empower 10 widows but increased when more women in the categories bombarded the venue and pleading. One of them was considered and included.
