By Our Reporter
The Mass Communication Alumni of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree (MAOS) have thrown their weight behind the candidate of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, Mr. Ojon Dotun popularly known as Don.
In a statement signed by the body’s National President, Comrade Jide Afolabi, he urged the good people of Ondo State to cast their votes for Ojon in the Ondo State governorship election holding on Saturday, October 10, 2020.
He said that Don aside being eminently qualified to run for the race, he has acquired requisite experience with impeccable character that Ondo State needs in a time like this.
He noted that, “The blueprint that the YPP candidate has produced could serve as a template to resolve national question.
“LEAP agenda is unique. L stands for leadership which is the main bane of the country. Ondo State needs a dynamic, energetic and young leader that can drive the 21st century governance. He has promised that people will be the focus of his government. If the leadership question is resolved, 70 percent of problems are solved already.”
Afolabi added that “Don is 38. The youngest among the candidates. He is not a politician but a technocrat who has over the years made landmark achievements.
“Don is our member and we have known him for almost 20 year’s. We believe that he has the capacity to change the fortune of the state through a digitalised governance which provides evidence-based interventions.”
He urged all member’s to mobilise for Don and serve as canvassers beore and during the election.
