Ondo 2020: Akeredolu, Jegede, Dotun Ojon Others To Debate As Ondo Diaspora Organisation Unveil Platform
The Ondo State Governor, Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who is equally the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and his counterpart from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Eyitayo Jegede are set to partake in a governorship debate organized by the Ondo State Diaspora Organisation in Europe.
According to a statement signed by Gbemisola Bisi-Taiwo Esq. Chairman, Ondo State Diaspora Organisation Europe, on Wednesday, the motive behind the debate is for the people of Ondo State to have full knowledge about those seeking to govern them.
The Ondo State Deputy Governor, Mr. Agboola Ajayi who is the candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Mr. Martin Kunle Olateru-Olagbegi of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Mr. Babatunde Francis Alli of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) and Mr. Adelegan Adedapo of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Dotun Ojon, Young Propressives Party (YPP) would be participating.
Other candidates selected to partake in the debate who will be held online via Zoom are, Mr. Ojon Dotun of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) and Prince Oyeleye Fashua of the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
The statement noted that the debate which will be held in English language and simultaneously be translated into the indigenous Yoruba language has been scheduled to hold on Saturday, September 26th, 2020 by 6pm. through Zoom as stated above.
While dignitaries including traditional rulers, educationists, business moguls, religious leaders and other top Ondo personalities have expressed readiness to participate, interested persons can join through the link stated below.
