Oyo Records Zero Fatality In Isolation Centres Since March – Task Force …we undertake comprehensive assessment- Prof. Alonge

Information at the disposal of the Oyo State Task Force on COVID-19, has confirmed that the state has not recorded any fatalities in its isolation centres since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Seyi Makinde who doubles as one of the Risk Communication coordinators of the Oyo State COVID-19 Task Force, Mr. Taiwo Adisa, indicated that though 31 deaths have been recorded in the state since the index case of the virus was discovered in the state, none has happened in its isolation centres.
The statement equally indicated that the 31 deaths either occurred at some other medical establishments or private hospitals.
