Ondo 2020: ‘Segun Abraham’s Group’ DG Resigns

A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Ondo State, Elder Kunle Eko-Davies, has dissociated himself from the ‘Segun Abraham Group’ ahead the October 10 governorship election in the state.

Eko-Davies, in a statement made available to journalists in Akure on Sunday said, “this is to inform the general public and members of Segun Abraham group that after weighing the options available taking cognisance of my nine years political sojourn with Mr. Abraham, I hereby resign as the ‘DG’ of his group.

“I remain a member of APC. I also wish Mr. Abraham and his co-travellers success in their future endeavours. More details later.”

The APC chieftain, who had been leading majority members of Abraham’s group, however, congratulated Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu over his victory at the just concluded primaries election of the party.
