Imo state government has suspended a broadcaster indefinitely for complaining of non-payment of her salaries and those of her colleagues.
The broadcaster, Mrs Vivian Ottih who works with the state owned media outlet, Imo Broadcasting Corporation (IBC), was indefinitely suspended over lack of remorse which was found unsatisfactory and unacceptable by the state government after she complained of the lack of payment of salaries.
In a query which was issued to Vivian Ottih previously, she was accused of causing ‘serious embarrassment to the Imo State Government’ after she granted an interview where the issues of the unpaid salaries were discussed.
