Fear Grips Ondo Residents As trailers loads Of Almajiri Land
There is great panic in Ondo State following unchecked traffic of people into the state within the last days especially from surrounding states and far north which the pandemic has been currently ravaging the people.
Hundreds of the people suspected to be almajiris were ferried into the state from the Northern states.
Some of the Communities reportedly to be flooded with the northern youths are Akoko towns of the state.
Scores of the Almajiris were also seen alighting from trucks at shasha market along akure Owo road and Dangote deport at Ilesa garage in Akure.
This is coming as coronavirus pandemic ravages the world.
Kano state is one the states with highest number of confirmed COVID 19 cases and deaths in the in the country.
Similar situation also played out at Ikare, Ugbe and Arigidi Akoko.
Some of the boys who were suspected of contracting COVID-19, were brought to Ondo state from Kano state by trucks carrying food items and other essential goods.
Residents have expressed fears that with the widespread of the deadly virus, their lives were at risk as the state government was not doing enough to protect them.
