NBCYC Felicitates Former Leader, Habakkuk Ishaku on AABYF Nomination

The Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, NBCYC, has felicitated its former President, Deacon Ishaku Habakkuk on his nomination as the Financial Secretary of the All Africa Baptist Youths Fellowship, AABYF.

In a congratulatory statement signed by the group’s National President, Pastor Enunuaye Onajite, he described the nomination as a right step towards financial prudence, accountability, and stability of the AABYF.

Onajite described Habbakuk as a God fearing brother with track record who has proven his integrity as the former Treasurer of the NBCYC.

He said, “This is a right step for AABYF. Bro. Habbakuk did a great job when he was in the finance department of the NBCYC. He has shown us that he is a godly brother who will never sell his birthright for a pot of porridge.

“He handled our finances with the utmost honesty and caution. His experience in that department would be useful to the AABYF.

“I am convinced that he would excel in this new role given his expertise, experience, faithfulness and hard work”

Deacon Habakkuk is the immediate past President of the Nigerian Baptist Convention Youth Conference, NBCYC, and a former Treasurer of the same body.

Habakkuk is a financial expert, a graduate of the Nigerian College of Accountancy and a certified National Accountant. He is a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria.
