MAOS Congratulates Osun NUJ Chairman on Investigative Reporter’s Award

The Mass Communication Alumni of Osun State Polytechnic Iree, (MAOS) has congratulated one of its Board of Trustee members who is also the Chairman, Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Osun State Council, Comrade Kehinde Ayantunji who will this morning, Wednesday 27th November 2019 bag an award in investigative reporting.
This is contained in a congratulatory message issued today, Wednesday by the National President of MAOS, Comrade Jide Afolabi through the National Publicity Secretary of the Alumni Association, Adekunle Sikiru Abacos in Osogbo, the capital of the state.
According to the release, the event will hold at Aurora Event Centre, Osogbo by 10 am, as he will be honoured with the State of Osun Government Award of Excellence in Investigative Journalism.
The President who congratulated Ayantunji described the award as a round peg in a round hole, adding that the experience and journalistic skills of the recipient in investigative journalism placed him above his peers not only in the state but in Nigeria in general.
The President therefore urged members of MAOS in Osun State to attend the event. at Aurora Event centre, Osogbo.
