Osun PDP Felicitates With Ooni Of Ife At 45

The Osun State chapter of The Peoples Democratic Party has congratulated the Ooni of Ife, Kabiyesi Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja the 2nd, on his 45th birthday celebrations, describing him as an Oba with a difference.

In a congratulatory message signed by the State Chairman of the party, Hon Olasoji Adagunodo, which was made available to the press, the PDP praised Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi for his exemplary leadership roles since assending the throne of his forefathers in Ile Ife, the cradle of the Yoruba race.

The PDP chairman particularly noted with profound memories how Kabiyesi has made his throne accessible to all especially, the political class, as a true father with indepth knowledge about his children who are bound to choose diverse paths in their quest for service to humanity.

Adagunodo also eulogised the Ooni for bringing his wealth of exposure to bear on the renewed unity among traditional institutions in Osun State in particular and Yoruband in general, just within a short period of his reign as Arole Oodua. ” I recall how Kabiyesi quickly swung into action immediately after he was crowned, traversing every nooks and crannies of Yoruba nation to preach love and unity, an effort that has recorded immence success and has endeared him to all and sundry”, Adagunodo stated.

Adagunodo therefore prayed to God for continued wisdom and sound health for Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi as he continues to advance in age on the highly revered throne of Arole Oodua, the Ooni of Ife.
