The Command in a press statement signed and issued by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Tyopev Mathias Terna on Thursday said that the ongoing Jos Carnival at the Polo Field has also been provided with adequate security.
Giving the breakdown of the personnel deployed, Tyopev said, “Plateau State Police Command, Jos in line with its core constitutional mandate of safeguarding lives and property of citizens has marshaled out two thousand two hundred and eleven (2211) personnel comprising of 45 SPOs, 258 Inspectors, 1832 Rank, and File as well as 76 Traffic Wardens for the Easter Celebration, 2019.”
