Police Arrests Wanted Suspected Armed Robber, Alerts the Public on New Trend of Kidnapping

The Plateau State Police Command said it has arrested a notorious suspected wanted armed robber.
The Police also warned members of the public on the new trend of kidnapping in the state.
The Police in a press release signed and issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Tyopev Matthias Terna, today, Thursday, in Jos, Plateau State capital called on members of the public especially, family of the victim to volunteer information to the Police and be security conscious.
The Command assured the public that, “everything is being done to track these criminals. It has been established that the kidnappers are not far from the communities and already we have gotten the profile of some of them through our intelligence network. Sooner that later, they will meet their waterloo.
“Meanwhile, the Command in its drive to rid Plateau State of crime arrested a notorious criminal, one Daniel Useini ‘m’ of Rukuba Road Jos who has been on the wanted list of the Police for Criminal Conspiracy and Armed Robbery cases. The suspect was arrested on 26/03/2019 with one locally made revolver pistol with ten rounds of live ammunition and fifteen rounds of rubber ammunition. Investigation in this case is ongoing and members of the public shall be briefed at the appropriate time.”
Tyopev urged the public to volunteer information to the police to serve them better.
