Samuel Ortom Wins Benue’s Supplementary Election
The incumbent Governor of Benue state, Samuel Ortom has won a second term in office after winning the supplementary election conducted on Saturday, March 23.
According to the Benue State governorship supplementary election results from some Polling Units in 22 Local Government Areas of the state, Ortom on Sunday is leading with 7,774.votes.
Recall that Vanguard had reported on March 9 that the election was declared inconclusive as a result of the cancellation of results from more than ten local government areas in the state, when Prof Sabastine Maimako, said the “margin of lead is below that of cancelled votes”,
