Why I Am Contesting To Represent Odo-Otin State constituency-AMA

why he is contesting to represent the people of his constituency. Exerpt 

What may we know about your profile Sir?

Thank you and welcome to my humble home. My name is Prince Adeyinka Michael Adetoyi Born on the 26th of August 1972 to Prince Adetoyi from Daodu compound Oyan, Odo-Otin local government, now Odo-Otin north LCDA the state of Osun. I started my early year education at Community Primary School, Obajare, Ore, Ondo State between 1978 – 1983 and proceeded to Government Secondary School, Tanke, Ilorin, Kwara State between 1984 – 1989 where I bagged his Secondary School Certificate Examination. I subsequently attended Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin between 1990 – 1992 for my Ordinary National Diploma Certificate (OND) in Purchasing and Supply and also The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State between 1994 to 1995 for my Higher National Diploma Certificate in Purchasing and Supply. I had my NYSC primary assignment at the Lagos State Ministry of Commerce and Economic Development between 1996 –1997. Because of my zeal for education, I enrolled and became a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management Nigeria (CIPSMN) in the year 2000 and also moved further to Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) where I obtained the prestigious Master in Business Administration (MBA) in 2007. In order to broaden my professional and entrepreneur knowledge, I enrolled for courses at the prestigious Lagos Business School (LBS), and Multimix Academy and commerce edge in South Africa

It’s been a long journey so far, so after all this education. Can you walk us through your life after your service year?

Thank you, after my service at the Lagos State Ministry of Commerce and Economic Development, I joined Fareast Mercantile Company Limited immediately as a Store Officer. I left Fareast Mercantile as a Supervisor in year 2000 to join Vitamalt Nigeria Plc as Assistant Procurement Manager, where I was responsible for key deliverables in procurement for the whole Company, this I did up till May 2003 before I was subsequently promoted to the position of substantive Procurement Manager, a Position I held till 2006 when I join the Tobacco giant and a Multinational Company, British American Tobacco in the Import desk as a Supervisor. At the British American Tobacco, I worked at several units of the Company, especially the Import desk, procurement etc. Before I left the company in March 2010
After leaving British American Tobacco Ltd, I joined Golden Pasta Company Limited {Flour Mills Nigeria Plc.} as Purchasing and Planning Manager. There, I was responsible for the overall planning and coordination of all activities revolving around material acquisition both locally and internationally.
I left the services of the flour giant in 2012 to begin my much desired life as an Entrepreneur. As the Chief Executive Officer of Fresh and Nourishing International, which was founded in year 2012, as a foremost trading and Agricultural giant, dealing in importation and exportation of Agricultural Products with Partners across the globe. I am also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of New Vision Agro and Merchandise Company, a Vehicle through which I have invested heavily in Agriculture, with farms in Ogun State and State of Osun Nigeria.

You mentioned earlier your company partners with people around the globe you must have been a great travellers then?

Well, Saying am a great traveller could be a way to put it. However, having being in agro business, and having business partners in other parts of the world made it a necessity for me to do so.

Can you tell us some of the countries you have visited and your experience there?

Well, I have been to South Africa, United Kingdom, UAE, Brazil to mention a few, and in all this countries there is mostly one thing they all have in common and that’s orderliness and their commitment to development of their nation.

What about your political journey, can you tell us?

My involvement in politics did not just start. In one way or the other, I have been in politics from my little age which made me to be saddled with responsibilities right from my school days. I was the health prefect in my primary school and a punctuality prefect in my secondary school days. My participation in union activities while in employment service brought about my being elected as the branch secretary for food, tobacco and beverage staff association….
so it wasn’t much of a wonder my believes lean towards the progressive house when I decided to get involved in active politics.

How will you describe AMA as a party man?

A committed Party Man and a Disciplinarian who believes in giving honor to whom it is due and because and because of my deep rooted care for my community and service to humanity in general, I decided to join progressive politics i.e I joined All Progressives Congress (APC). Though I have always have passion for progressive politics, life matters has always take center stage and (not but) I have been getting involve since 2011 as one of the numerous party sponsors over the years through funding and publicity

What prompt you into seeking election as the candidate to represent Odo-Otin in the coming Election?

Thank you once again and I really appreciate you for being here, just as I mentioned earlier about my passion for progressive politics and better still my experience over the years of travelling and business dealings, and also my desire to serve my people in the best way that I can are what prompted me into seeking being elected as Honourable representing odo-otin state constituency at the state of Osun House of Assembly. In addition, I also know that is one of the best ways of giving back to the society.

Can you tell the people of Odo-Otin state constituency what to be expecting from you? 

Like I have said time over, AMA is not just about me, but the entire Odo-Otin Local Government and I have prepared a number of things as a way to score and rate me if am giving their mandate. Some of my programs include: A higher level of participatory governance, A higher level of economic boost, Empowerment opportunity for the youth and artisan of the constituency, Provision of scholarship and enlightenment for our young student, facilitation of good health care and lastly, showing more care and giving total respect to our entire traditional stool.

What message will you like to send to the people of your constituency?

My message is not just to the people of Odo-Otin or the state of Osun rather to the entire citizen of our country, to believe in ourselves and make peace the forerunner of everything we do, let’s join hands together with our president and the entire leaders of our country to move the country forward so they can lead us to our next level of prosperity. Let’s come out en masse to vote for all candidates of the APC in the coming election. Together we will take our dear nation to a glorious height.
