Osun: O’Ambulance Opens New Point
Osun Ambulance Services Agency, popularly known as O’Ambulance is set to open new ambulance point in Iree town, Boripe local government area of the Osun state.
According to the release by the General Manager Dr Olusegun Babatunde, Iree is one of the strategic location for ambulance point, given the fact that the town is densely populated by students and staff of Osun State Polytechnic community, and this made it volatile.
This ambulance point will see to swift and prompt emergency medical response and referral services to the people of the town and it’s environs, thereby improving the overall health status of the people.
This is in line with the state governments commitment to good health and well being of the entire citizenry in the state.
The General Manager stated that until now, the ambulance point in Iragbiji was the only one covering all the local governments and tributaries in the area, and he added that his main goal is to reduce the response time to every medical emergency across the length and breadth of the State, to nothing more than Five minutes.
Dr Babatunde emphasized that the Ambulance point will also complement the medical health centre located within the polytechnic campus and the health centers around the area, and he enjoined the citizens to contact O’Ambulance in the case of emergency medical or referral services.
