Oranmiyan Group Welcomes Buhari, Vows To Mobilise Votes For APC

As President Muhammadu Buhari takes his reelection campaign to Osun state, a sociocultural organisation, Oranmiyan group has vowed to mobilize vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the coming general elections.
The group stated this in a statement issued by its Director General, Olajide Sadiq in Osogbo, on Saturday to welcome the president, his Vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo and the entire campaign team to Osogbo, the Osun state capital
Sadiq said President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election in the Feb.16 would make dividends of democracy get to the grassroots.
He said that the group would commence an aggressive house-to-house and door-to-door campaign toward the re-election of Buhari and all senatorial candidates, house of representatives candidates and all state Assembly candidates vying on the platform of All Progressives Congress APC
Sadiq, said that the president would use the opportunity to interact with stakeholders, including traditional institution, leaders of religious bodies, community leaders, members of the organised private sector, market men and women and youth groups at the township stadium , Osogbo, the state capital.
He called on APC members and supporters of President Buhari across the political divides to turn out in large numbers and give the president a rousing welcome that would give a hint of the votes he would garner on February 16.
Sadiq said: “I’m urging the APC members and loyalists to troop out in their thousands to demonstrate our love and affection for President Muhammadu Buhari, who has done a lot for the entire Yoruba race since he mounted the saddle.
He, therefore urged all people of the state to come out massively and cast their votes for APC come February 16 and March 2 respectively
