Breaking: Buhari Swears-in Justice Ibrahim Tanko as Acting CJN

President Muhammadu Buhari today, Friday sworn-in Honourable Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammed as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria, Ag. CJN.
This follows the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Honourable Justice Walter Nnkanu Onnoghen as the CJN.
The CJN was suspended by President Buhari a few hours ago based on the order of the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
The CJN is standing trial for non declaration of some assets including domicilliary accounts running into millions.
Justice Tanko is the most senior Justice after the suspended CJN.
