Bishop, Most Revd Oyejola Felicitates With Muslims On Eid-El-Fitri Celebration
The Bishop, Most Revd John Akin Oyejola, and the entire faithful of the Catholic Diocese of Osogbo, heartily felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters on this occasion of the 2018 celebration of Eid el-Fitr, which marks the successful completion of the Holy season of Ramadan.
In the past thirty days, you offered fervent prayers, fasting and charity to the poor to seek the mercy of God for yourselves, for neighbors, for our dear nation Nigeria and for the whole of humanity. We pray that the virtues of righteousness, justice, respect for others, kindness, patience and selflessness which Islam teaches and which our dear nation stands in dire need of will bear more fruits for the peace and prosperity of our nation.
Signed:
Most Revd John Akin Oyejola.
Bishop, Catholic Diocese of Osogbo
