Edo Lawmaker Scorned Over Addiction To Foreign Language

The legislator, was said to have ostensibly ignored request of Chief Sam Igbe, the Iyase of Benin, requesting the third term legislator to address the Benin monarch, Oba Ewuare II in her dialect as a native of Benin.

Peeved by the traditional ruler’s observation, Mrs, Ativie who adorned herself in white apparel and beads, bowed and held her deep breath in amazement and uncertainty for few seconds.

She however became fit as fiddle when she told waiting reporters outside the reception venue, said it pays to show gratitude.
