Waziri Of Sokoto Calls For Continuous Prayers For Nigeria, Leaders

Sokoto – The Waziri of Sokoto, Prof. Sambo Junaidu, on Sunday called on Nigerians not to relent in their prayers for the country and leaders.

Junaidu, made the call at the turbaning of the Managing Director of Sokoto Rima River Basin Development Authority (SRRBDA), Alhaji Muhammad Bature as the ‘Garkuwan Waziri’ and four others in the state.
He said that the leaders always needed our prayers to discharge their mandates successfully, as such sustainable prayer is always a key for such responsibilities.
He also called on Nigerians to continue to live in peace with one another and to avoid acts capable of dividing the country.
“Allah created us to live together in one country called Nigeria and being the best knower, knows why He made it as such.
“We should therefore, live together harmoniously and work towards making this country great,” he said.
Also turbaned include the state Commissioner for Rural Development,’ Alhaji Abdullahi Maigwandu as Marafan Waziri and Alhaji Sambo Fada, as Sarkin Fadan Waziri.
Others were the acting Provost, Shehu Shagari College of Education, Dr. Wadata Hakimi and Alhaji Sa’idu Abbas, as Walin Waziri and Bunin Waziri respectively. (NAN)
