Nigeria Army Pledges To Sustain Investment In Personnel Management

The Nigerian Army has reiterated its commitment towards investing in its personnel in order to produce more professionals who would continue to protect the nation’s territorial integrity.

The assurance was contained in a communique issued at the end of the four days Chief of Army Staff Conference held in Ibadan,the Oyo state capital.

The Army said that  it would continue to sustain investment in personnel management for the continuous creating responsibilities,providing the direct inpirational and vision for the likesminds in the profession.

The conference was declared open by the duo of President Muhammadu Buhari and the host governor Sen. Abiola Ajimobi at the World Lillie event palace Apata, Ibadan, with the theme

“Re-appraising the Nigerian Armys Operational Efficiency in combacting comtemporary National Security Challenges”

It provided an opportunity for the Nigerian Army to review the major events that took place in the year 2017 and made projections for 2018.

While reading the well crafted communique,/ Chief of policy and planning Army Major Gen. Christopher Adewale Jemitola made it known that the deliberations at the conference indicated that the Nigeria Army has fared better in the areas of trainning operations discipline and force to Posture which are essential ingredients for any force.

The only lecture titled Safegaurding Nigerian Unity and soveregnty; a patrotic and continuous imperative for the Nigerian Army to presented by Major General Ike Omar Sonda Nwachukwu brought out the aced for total National Defence and total intelligence gathering based on total national leadership in the efficient management of available resources in the discharge of the constitutional rules of the Nigeria Army.

This is with a view to confronting and combating all evolving internal and external security threat in order to guarantee the soverengty of Nigeria. Today under the need to maintain the high morale of Nigerian Army troops remained a focal point in the deliberation at the conference.

The Nigerian Army noted and reiterated
the need for continuous self assessment of its capabilities issues on going operations with view to optimizing lasting capacities while strategizing for projecting efficiency critical thinking by all officers was identified as a means necessry for projecting the Nigerian Army to the greater heights.

It also highlighted the need for collaboration with sisters services/) paramilitary and other security agencies for a robost security architechture capable of dealing with existing and emerging security challengies.

The conference also deliberated on issues inspecting on the conduct of on going Nigeria Army operations and the need such operation to be conducted within the context of the rule of law and inter national best practices.
