BOA Donates Wheel Chairs, N500, 000 To Physically Challenged People In Osun
The Ikire home of Benedict Olugboyega Alabi (BOA) in Osun State, was agog yesterday, when he hosted the physically challenged community.
The Ikire born business man turned politician, welcomed the special people with his usual down-to-earth disposition that has made him synonymous with humility and listened to their list of need with rapt attention.
While speaking, the vice-chairman of the state of Osun Joint Association of People with Special Needs, JONAPWD, Mr Stephen Oluwafemi commended Alabi for his philanthropy and all-time support for the association.
He reiterated that the most important of their needs at the moment was the provision of wheel chairs for their members and the construction of a shopping complex with modern facilities that can aid his people to do business.
In his response, the governorship aspirant pledged his full support for all their projects and assured them that his doors would always be opened to their members.
The height of the event was the presentation of wheel chairs to the members of the association and a pledge of the sum of N500, 000 to kick start the construction of shopping complex for the disabled.
The PRO of the Irepodun local government branch of the association, Mr. Komolafe Adeniyi gave the vote of thanks and prayed that God had mercy on their benefactor, Dr. Alabi by crowning all his efforts at becoming the next governor of the state with resounding success.
