Oyo Governor’s Wife, Cleric Call For Prayers To Restructure Nigeria
By Olusakin Babalola , Ibadan
Wife of the Oyo State Governor, Mrs Florence Ajimobi and the General Overseer of BreakForth Church, Bodija, Ibadan, Pastor Austin Ologbese have recommended prayer as the most effective tool to restructure Nigeria which has a shaky foundation.
Pastor Ologbese observed that the country had a very shaky foundation pointing out that prayer was needed to holistically restructure it.
While stressing that believers had much to do spiritually, the Cleric assured that prayers of the faithful could straighten all crooked ways.
“It is only fools who can doubt the power of God. The experience of that Olajumoke from Osun state, who had her fortune changed from bread-hawking to modelling is enough a proof of God’s favour in human lives,” he admonished.
Ologbese who spoke on “Divine Elevation” clarified that prayer was not limited to Christians alone but all mortars who appreciated God and his mysterious ways.
Mrs Ajimobi in her address, thanked all the women particularly those from other religionist, pointing out that it was the prayer of all believers that would restructure the nation at this critical period of life.
“Prayer has nothing to do with whether you are Christians or Muslims. God answers the prayer said with faith and purity. We must all ensure that we move closely to God at all times. Our closeness to him will make us benefit from his favour. There is nothing which God’s favour cannot give us,” she declared.
She urged all women to pray for their children at all times and resist the temptation of speaking evil things on their children regardless of any provocation, adding that they should pray for our leaders at all times.
Two women ministers, Rev. A Popoola and Mrs Abimbola Longe made prophetic declarations that it would be well with all citizens and leaders of the country, adding they should refrain from all acts of ungodliness.
