I Kill For Pleasure-Boko Haram Suspect

A 20-year-old Boko Haram suspect, Mohammed Basha who was arrested in Isua Akoko area of the Akoko South-East Local Government Area, Ondo State has confessed to have killed two persons since he joined the dreaded group eight months ago.
Mohammed who was nabbed by anti riot police men of the Ondo state police command while on patrol said he was initiated into the sect while on one of his gracing outfit in the forest.
According to him, he was arrested while looking for a cafeteria along side other members of his group in preparation for an operation which the group plans to carry out in the area.
The Nasarawa state born suspect said he was sent away by his father in Kano state who expressed concerned over his continuous cold attitude at home.
He also disclosed that he was called upon later by his mother who was receiving treatment at psychiatric hospital in Kano state for ear problem.
Mohammed who spoke in Hausa language through an interpreter disclosed that his colleagues are in Nasarawa and some other states in the north, adding that a sizeable number of them have relocated to the South West, including Ondo State.
He also disclosed that some influential people in the country often supply the group weapons used for their illicit operations.
While addressing journalists in Akure, the state capital, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr Gbenga Adeyanju said the suspect would be transfer to Nigeria Army for necessary action.
He said efforts of his men has led to the arrest of twelve cult members who had been terrorizing the state in the last few months.
Adeyanju therefore appeal to members of the public to report any suspicious movements in their area to the Nigeria Police.
