Reports have it that the trainer was accompanied by coach Gernot Rohr.
Super Eagles Media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, said Rohr’s presence would boost the morale of the players and coaching crew.
“The Technical Advisers presence has really boosted players’ morale and technical crew,” he said.
According to him, Rohr’s major duty is to supervise team training while the coach Salisu Yusuf are still in charge.
He said that the trainer was expected to work with current Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer Alloy Agu.
Ibitoye said that more than 25 players arrived in the camp so far and it was bubbling with life.
Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles on Tuesday resumed training at the Sani Abacha Stadium Kano.
The players are given three days break to play for their various clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League at the weekend.
The home-based Eagles players are camping ahead of the 2018 CHAN qualifiers against Benin Republic on Aug. 13 in Benin.
The team is being handled by assistant coaches Salisu Yusuf and Imam Amakapabo
