Group Condoles With Chief Bisi Akande Over wife’s death
A socio political group in Osun state,Oranmiyan Democrats has commiserated with the family of the second civilian governor of the state, Chief Adebisi Akande over the demise of his wife, Late Mrs Omowunmi Akande, describing it as a collosal lost for the state.
In a statement issued by the national converner of the group, Atunluse Moshood Titilola said, Omowumi Akande’s death will create a vacuum in Bisi Akande’s dynasty.
Titilola commiserates with the family of the one time interim chairman of All Progressive Congress, (APC), and the state at large over the demise of Mrs Akande, praying for the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.
Similarly, the group has also preached to all the indigene of the state to maintain peace and serenity as this is the only way to political stability.
Speaking with newsmen in osogbo, the national converner of the group, Atunluse Titilola Moshood harps for peaceful co existence amongst the political groups
According to him, its under peaceful atmosphere that our democracy can triumph, adding that, people should see peaceful coexistence as the bedrock of any development hence, they should try and uphold it.
Speaking on the just concluded By-election in the state, the group said democracy has coke to stay as the wish of the people was sustained.
Titilola said, the group as a campaigner of good governance eulogized the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) for been independent by allowing the wishes of the mass to come to pass.
He however urged the political parties in the state to tow a lane of peace and acrimony for the cause of political stability and to also collaborates together for the sustainability of good governance.
