Oluwo, Pegunre Of Yorubaland By Alli Ibraheem
Just like it was done in great Britain in the seventeen Century, announcing the suspension of sorcery and whitchcraft, Oluwo of Iwoland is engaging in spiritual cleansing to erase both temporary and permanent generational curses on the Yorubaland.
During my days in primary school, we were very used to using erasers. The purpose is to either adjust or completely erase mistakes made while writing. Mistakes made by pencil are easily erasable than those made by pen. Because kindergarten students are prone to more mistakes, they are advised to use a pencil that is easily erasable.
On the other hand, mistakes made with pens are mostly permanent, very difficult to erase. They are like generational curses. Just like the Oluwo preaching on the much talk about generational effect of the sins of our great grand forefathers. The sins of their unholy promotion and participation in slavery and slave trading. The sins of using humans for rituals, wrath incured from desecrating the grave of Ogun, Sango and others with dirty items such as blood and palm oil.
The Paramount Ruler of the United Kingdoms of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has improved the tempo of his traditional governance to erasing generational curses on Yorubaland, the effect of which has been greatly felt in his hometown, Iwo.
Oluwo commenced the cleansing in 2016 when he removed the 800-year old Ogun shrine in front of the ancient palace of Iwo. This he did successfully a few months after his enthronement. He went further to make pronouncements banning some occultic practices publicly.
As part of the moves to make Iwo Holy, Oba Akanbi banned movement restrictions in the name of deity worshipping. He warned Egungun worshippers to desist from violence by restraining from weaponising the annual event.
Today, Iwo story has changed , convincingly. The curse of lacking and lagging behind in federal presence is broken. When a federal college of education was to be established, and a slot was to be given to the whole Southwestern States, Iwo claimed it. National Open University is always cited in the state capital, Iwo attracted one to make two for Osun State aside the one situated at the state capital, Osogbo.
The face and phase of Iwo has drastically improved. Non regular indigenes may miss the road to his family if not properly guided. About 10 shopping malls were commissioned between December 2025 and this January.
Just yesterday, I had a conversation with a renowned engineer of his firend’s readiness to establish Just Rite shopping mall in Iwo. Next week, another mall worth of #300m will be commissioned.
His advocacy is spreading. He has extended the preaching to the entire Yorubaland. The bleeding in the land can be erased provided we all resign to Olodumare (God). Without repentance from such acts, Yorubas may not have the best of their wishes.
As a keen observer, I have seen the element of an answered prayer on Iwo. Holy lands are frontliners. By nature, in no distance time, Oluwo, her stool and Iwo, will be a positive reference point for others willing to ride to greatness. The attached price is cleaningness which is next to Godliness and greatness.
Let’s watch out for the testaments and testimonies of Oluwo’s eraser dedicated to removing both temporary and permanent curses on the land. A new empire is rising.
