By Ayobami Agboola, Osogbo

Former Special Adviser to the Osun State Governor on Youth and Sports, Hon. Adegboyega Adelabu Aremo, has described Engr. Olalekan Badmus and Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye as true sons of Osun whose influence and philanthropy have left remarkable footprints across the state.

In a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Osogbo on Wednesday, Aremo praised the duo for using their positions to empower communities, particularly at the grassroots level, and for their continued loyalty to the ideals of progressive leadership.

“The duo, going by their philanthropic nature, have touched many lives in their various localities. This, as a matter of fact, has strengthened our party, as they have used both their former and current offices to empower the people at the grassroots,” Aremo said.

He congratulated Engr. Olalekan Badmus, Executive Director of Operations at the Nigerian Ports Authority, and Engr. Oluremi Omowaiye, Executive Director of Projects Monitoring at the Federal Housing Authority, on the occasion of their birthdays, commending their commitment to public service.

Describing them as “true party men,” Aremo said their support for members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has given many at the local level a sense of belonging.

“Engr. Lekan Badmus is a visionary administrator whose work at the NPA has contributed to operational excellence and national economic growth. His commitment to youth development and community upliftment is unparalleled,” he noted.

“Similarly, Engr. Omowaiye has continued to make indelible marks in infrastructure and project execution through his role at the Federal Housing Authority.”

Aremo further praised the character and consistency of the two celebrants, calling them “illustrious sons of Osun” and pillars of progressive politics in the state.

He prayed for their continued success, saying: “May God continue to bless them, grant them all their heart desires, and give them long life in good health and greater wealth. I celebrate them today, and always.”
