Osun Youth Urged To Lead Real Estate Development with Cultural Pride
Osun youth have been called upon to take an active role in shaping the state’s real estate landscape, merging economic growth with a deep respect for cultural heritage.
This charge was made during the Osun Global Real Estate Conference, hosted by AQuint Concept, where key industry leaders, government officials, and young professionals gathered to discuss the future of real estate in Osun.
Engineer Adeleke Ajibola Abdulmujib, MD/CEO of AQuint Concept, emphasized that the state’s youth are well-positioned to bring fresh perspectives to real estate, making it a more inclusive and dynamic sector.
Abdulmujib outlined a vision of real estate development that would place Osun on the map as a top investment destination, stating, “The real estate sector is an open field for anyone with ambition and determination.
Osun’s youth can seize this opportunity, build their brands, and establish Osun as a beacon of cultural and economic strength.”
He encouraged young professionals to build strong foundations in real estate, suggesting that their involvement could drive significant economic growth and community impact.
National real estate coach AMB Coach Spark Ovadje, recognized as a leading figure in the industry across Nigeria and Africa also corroborated Abdulmujib’s call.
Speaking on the theme of rural urbanization, Ovadje listed the opportunities available for youth in real estate, particularly in rural areas. “Real estate is open to everyone, not just a selected few, young professionals should enter the industry early, gain experience, and actively contribute to the growth of Osun’s economy.”
Similarly, Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Bankole Ojo, urged developers to incorporate Osun’s cultural heritage into new projects.
“Our heritage is our pride, and it should be reflected in the spaces we build, real estate in Osun should stand as a testament to our unique identity and cultural strength.”He noted
However, during the program, the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism unveiled a specially designed statue of a woman, symbolizing Osun State’s rich cultural heritage.
To further support this cultural initiative, participants contributed funds for the statue’s official launch, underscoring a shared commitment to celebrating and preserving the state’s traditions.
