Aregbesola Gets Life Membership of Osun Assembly

Governor Rauf  Aregbesola would on tomorrow Tuesday be conferred honourary life member of Osun State House of Assembly.

A statement by the Chairman, House Committee on Information and Strategy, Hon Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, said the state parliament was proud of Aregbesola’s achievements.

The legislative honour, which would be corroborated with  annual lecture in the annual  series in honour of Aregbesola as  part of the programmes listed for  60th birthday celebration.

According to Oyintiloye,  the Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon Femi Gbajabiamila would deliver the inaugural lecture of the series with a topic, ‘Suitability of Presidential System of Government In A Multi-ethnic Democracy’ .

According to the statement, the programme would be held at the House Chamber in the Assembly complex.

The parliament noted that the programme was targeted at celebrating the commitment and developmental ideas the governor has brought into governance in the state.

It said the record of achievements of Aregbesola within six years of his administration would forever remain evergreen in the state.

The Assembly then noted it would not relent in giving  Legislative support to the executive in order to aid the development of the State.
